Re-Registration for all Students in Grades 5, 8 and 10
In order to ensure that all students attending the Wayne Township Public Schools are residents of Wayne, we will once again be requiring the re-registration of students at certain grade levels.  Parents of students at three grade levels (fifth grade going into sixth grade, eighth grade going into ninth grade and tenth grade going into eleventh grade) will be required to re-register their children in the coming months at their child’s current school.
For example, if you have a child currently in eighth grade at George Washington Middle School, you should report to George Washington Middle School to re-register your child. This process has been streamlined, and it is not a full re-registration, but rather a document review that should take approximately five minutes.
The re-registration will start at the beginning of April.  All registration documents must be provided to your child’s school by the last day of school in June. Parents of currently enrolled students in grades five, eight and ten will be receiving a letter from your child’s school in the coming weeks with information about how to re-register your student.
Wayne Day 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Randall Carter January Food Pantry Collection

During the month of January, the Randall Carter will assist the Wayne Council of PTOs to collect much needed items for the food bank they run out of Wayne Hills High School.  This is the only time we collect for this community organization.  Each grade will be asked to donate specific items  (please see the flyer below).
Boxes will be placed inside the school’s front door for donation drop-offs.  We thank you in advance for your generosity!

Wayne Township Knowing Your Reader Support
Knowing Your Reader
During parent teacher conferences one of the most important items your teacher will want to discuss is their current reading level.  Your child's independent level informs you of your child’s “just right’ reading level, a level where your child can read comfortably with fluency and understanding.  Please click the link below to access this document to learn more about the types of books and reading traits that fit within each level.
