Lead Water Testing Update
The Wayne Township Public School District lead water testing results of its (9) elementary schools are available.   We are happy to report that our water testing results are good and there were no tests that exceeded the EPA and DEP standards.  Please click here for your school results.  The secondary schools and the district's other ancillary building results will soon be posted upon completion.
Exciting Enrichment Opportunities Available for ALL Students
The Elementary Enrichment website offers many exciting enrichment opportunities to all students in grades K through 5.  Students can participate in a wide variety of challenges, including Mathlete & Super Solver math problems, creative writing activities and more.  Please click here for more information.
Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Grades
As per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) (P.L.2010, c.122), the Wayne Township Public Schools has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades to the district's HIB webpage, and to each individual school's webpage. COMING SOON! Kindergarten and new First Grade Student Registration for the 2017-2018 School Year
Registration will take place at the Wayne Township Learning Center (Preakness), 1006 Hamburg Turnpike in Room #9, not at your child’s school, during the weeks of February 20th and February 27, 2017.  Only a parent or guardian may enroll the child.  The child is not required to be present.  Please click here for the full press release.
Wayne Township Board of Education Members Sworn in at the Organizational Meeting
(Wayne, NJ) – At the Wayne Township Board of Education organizational meeting held on January 5, 2017, two returning and two new board members were sworn in by Mayor Christopher Vergano.  Incumbents Mitch Badiner and Michael Bubba were sworn in for 3-year terms along with newcomer Suzanne Pudup.  Stacy Scher was sworn in to complete an unexpired 2-year term.  Please click here for full press release.

Randall Carter January Food Pantry Collection

During the month of January, the Randall Carter will assist the Wayne Council of PTOs to collect much needed items for the food bank they run out of Wayne Hills High School.  This is the only time we collect for this community organization.  Each grade will be asked to donate specific items  (please see the flyer below).
Boxes will be placed inside the school’s front door for donation drop-offs.  We thank you in advance for your generosity!

Knowing Your Reader
​During parent teacher conferences one of the most important items your teacher will want to discuss is their current reading level.  Your child's independent level informs you of your child’s “just right’ reading level, a level where your child can read comfortably with fluency and understanding.  Please click the link below to access this document to learn more about the types of books and reading traits that fit within each level.

Back To School Night Presentation and Health Reminders

Thank you to all of our families and community members for your attendance and participation in our annual Back to School Night on September 20th.  It was a wonderful night for teachers to share all of the exiting things going on here at Randall Carter Elementary School and a chance for you to see all of the upgrades we made to our facilities over the summer to better service our students!

Kindergarten Orientation 2016

Randall Carter hosted our annual Kindergarten Orientation on Wednesday May 25.  This event was an opportunity for our new families to meet our staff, tour our building, and hear a little about what is in store for our future Randall Carter Cardinals!  I want to thank everyone for coming out, what a great turnout!  As promised, you will find the presentations and information from this event located below.  Thanks again to everyone for a great orientation and we look forward to seeing you all in September to welcome you officially to the Randall Carter Family.  - Principal, Scot Burkholder
